An ideal flame retardant can satisfy those conditions

According to the relationship between the flame retardant and the flame retardant, the flame retardant can be divided into additive type and reactive type. Phosphorus flame retardants have been widely used for their wide variety and excellent flame retardancy. In the future, the research of phosphorus flame retardants should be more inclined to the development direction of flame retardants with high thermal stability and good solubility.

It is worth noting that an ideal flame retardant can meet the above conditions, but it is almost impossible. Therefore, when choosing practical flame retardants, most of them meet the basic requirements, compromise and get a good comprehensive balance among other requirements.
