APG is a moisture absorbing solid, which is generally dissolved in water and difficult to dissolve in some common organic solvents, but it has good solubility and surface activity in acid solution, and its solubility and surface activity in alkali solution are more prominent than other non-ionic surfactants. When in use, it can be prepared into a stable inorganic salt active solution with a concentration of 20% ~ 30%.
Alkyl glycosides are non-toxic and have high hemolytic activity. Experiments show that they have higher adsorption and permeability to biofilm than polyoxyethylene non-ionic surfactants. They can be used to change the pharmacokinetic process and improve the percutaneous absorption of effective substances.
The following conclusions can be drawn from the above experiments:
① If APG and K12 are properly compounded, they can play the role of synergistic foaming, and on the premise of the same total amount of foaming agent, when APG: K12 = 1:1, the foaming amount is large;
2. After the combination of APG and K12, the overall taste of toothpaste will be improved, and the foam will be more delicate, softer and less irritating.
With the gradual development of oral care products industry towards mild, green and natural direction, alkyl glycosides will be widely used and developed in China.
The raw materials for the manufacture of alkyl glycoside surfactants (APG) come from natural renewable resources, which have good biodegradability and environmental protection. In this paper, the compounding and foaming properties of alkyl glycosides in tableware detergent were studied, and the development prospect of APG was prospected. The results showed that APG had good decontamination and synergistic effect. It will play a more important role in the washing products industry.
Alkyl polyglycoside (APG) is a non-ionic surfactant synthesized from renewable plant materials such as fatty alcohol and glucose. Compared with petrochemical raw materials, it is a natural, mild and green product with sustainable development. The application of APG is helpful to the development of tableware detergent in the direction of mild, non-toxic, non irritating, good degradability and strong decontamination.
